Some 300 companies from across North America and Europe are expected to Centrexpo Drummondville, from 7 to 9 June 2017, the Enviro Business Forum occasion, the first international forum of individual meetings exclusively on the environment.
The underlying theme of this important group will be the green economy as an economic development engine and will fit completely with the wishes expressed by the governments of Canada and Quebec during the Paris Conference 2015 (COP21) on climate change that held in December.
The event will be organized by the Economic Development Corporation of Drummondville (SDED), in collaboration with France and PALME PALME Quebec. “Drummondville and Centre-du-Québec are constantly cited as examples when talking about green economy and industrial development; the Centrexpo is undoubtedly the ideal place in Quebec to hold such an event, “says Alexandre Cusson, Mayor of Drummondville and President SDED.
Just before the forum Enviro Business, from 5 to 7 June will be held the 5th PALM University providing training on various aspects of sustainable development, including global warming. It will offer a pre-program and a training program related to the green economy, investment opportunities arising from climate change, new challenges facing industrial parks in innovative development and promotion.
