This is the girl who ended the relationship on 15 August.

Benjamin Pelletier pleaded guilty in June 2014 to a sexual assault. In the circumstances, the Bernard Lemieux judge imposed a sentence of 90 days to be served intermittently. The prosecution called for a sentence of 12 months in prison, while the defense wanted an intermittent sentence.

“The complainant has never felt like a victim with the accused and no evidence of psychological harm has been done, Justice Lemieux said. Do not confuse ethical breach and criminal offense. ”

The officer also pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice.

Pelletier had indeed warned her friend that the police were aware she was driving without a valid license.

For this offense of obstruction, Pelletier is assessed a penalty of six months to be served in the community. It will be total on probation for two years.
