A burned car in Montreal

policeAn automobile was destroyed by a fire in the street late Sunday night, north of Montreal.

The intervention of firefighters prevented the spread of fire; nobody was hurt.

The fire broke out around 22:30 in the vehicle parked on 13th Avenue, near the intersection of Bélanger Street in Rosemont.

At last report, investigators had not detected the presence of products that have been used to light the fire and to fan the flames. Of explosions were heard by people from the neighborhood, but it seems that it was the explosion of the tires caused by fire.

The survey was sent investigators to the arson squad of the Police Service of the City of Montreal (SPVM) that will meet the owner of the vehicle.
