Employees CPE Chez Juliette aunt, grouped within the Union of workers of the centers of early childhood in the Eastern Townships have been patient.
Accredited since 29 July 2014, they finally got a collective agreement.
“It was a long negotiation, but ultimately it ended with a settlement to the expectations of workers,” said Stephanie Vachon, president of the union affiliated with the CSN.
“Despite the good will of the parties to reach a settlement, conciliation became necessary to reach an agreement. Wins are the most interesting. ”
They are summed up by including a wage increase of one percent with feedback on 1 April 2015, the redeemable sick-leave at 100 percent, the recognition of the occasional status and their hours worked as CPE access to unpaid leave for training and development, lists a press release.
The 27 workers came together in union to achieve greater equity in their working conditions. The collective agreement that fills this need to the satisfaction of the employees of the CPE, it is added.
The CPE Chez Juliette aunt has two facilities, either one at Stoke and second in Fleurimont.
