A man of 46 years of Belledune, New Brunswick, was arrested Monday, and he will face a charge of attempted murder of dual two children.
It is not known the precise link between children and the individual, the RCMP merely to indicate that they are “of the same family.”
The incident occurred last Thursday in Blackland, when the police went to the scene of an exit road. The man and the children were then taken to hospital.
Later, children aged under 12 were transferred to a hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and then they were discharged. As for man, he remained in hospital in Campbellton.
Police later received information suggesting that a criminal act was committed. The group of major crimes RCMP investigated and the individual was apprehended as he left hospital on Monday.
It should appear on Tuesday in Provincial Court in Campbellton.
