An American woman was arrested after police discovered that his children were 4 and 6 years old lived in a wooden box placed at the bottom of a cave in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 24 year old woman was charged Friday for putting minors at risk.
Investigators in Jackson County were searching the cave system located east of the city as part of an investigation into a network of stolen vehicles when kids fell on Thursday.
Small were alone in a box of 2.4 meters by 3 having self benches for any furniture.
According to prosecutors, the children were scantily clad, barefoot and covered in dirt. The youngest was eating dry ramen noodles out of the package when officers broke into the cave.
