Arthur Porter, former director of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) suspected of large-scale corruption, died on the night of yesterday and today in Panama, according to his official biographer.
He was 59 years old. He had revealed two years ago that he was suffering from a serious cancer.
Her doctor “informed me early this morning that he died of lung cancer with metastases,” wrote Jeff Todd, author of his biography, this morning on the social networks.
According to the CBC, his wife reportedly confirmed the news.
