Burglary knife in Cote-des-Neiges bank

suspect-46-ans-rapidement-eteA man robbed a bank in the Cote-des-Neiges with knives, around 3:20 p.m. this afternoon, without causing no injuries.

The Police Service of the City of Montreal (SPVM) arrested a suspect after a short foot chase.

“According to first reports, it appears that a man would be presented within” a branch of the Royal Bank at the corner of Van Horne and Victoria avenues, “with a knife, to request a sum of money, “reported police spokesman Manuel Couture. “The man would have gotten away with a stolen amount of money.”

The 46 year old suspect was quickly located and arrested.

No one was injured in the robbery.
