California honored the production Foresta Lumina

sage-jean-yves-caronProduction Townships Foresta Lumina is still talking about it internationally. Saturday was held the 22nd edition of the Thea Award gala in Anaheim, California.

Members of the management team of the Parc de Coaticook Gorge were on hand to receive the Thea Award in the category “interactive attraction of the year, limited budget.”

This award is recognized as the highest honor of the themed entertainment industry, says a press release. The Thea Awards goes to an amusement park to celebrate outstanding achievement.

Caroline Sage, executive director of the Park of the gorge, and Marie Belzile, director at Moment Factory, are mounted on the stage to get international recognition.

“It is a great experience that gives us wings for years to come. My motto was and is still, to remember that creativity is to accept change and especially to have the courage to dare more than others, “said Caroline Wise.

The phenomenon Foresta Lumina has since its inception in 2014, attracted over 225 000 visitors. A press conference will be held in May to announce the news of the 2016 season, will be announced in a press release.
