The US airline Delta Airlines has canceled 250 more flights on Tuesday after 1000 and delayed canceled nearly 3,000 Monday.
A power outage at the registered office of the company in Atlanta, caused the collapse of its global systems of communications and bookings.
The problem was resolved after a few hours, but the damage was done and the impact was still felt on Tuesday.
The airline posted a video apology from the President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Bastian. He also offered refunds and travel vouchers to US $ 200 for travelers whose flights have been canceled or delayed for at least three hours.
Difficult to put travelers
Delta struggled Tuesday to find enough seats to accommodate tens of thousands of travelers whose flights have been canceled. Last month, an average Delta flight was full to 87%.
Delta has transported 138.8 million passengers last year, which earned him third in the world.
Computer problems plague airlines repeatedly. Last month, Southwest Airlines had to cancel more than 2,000 flights because of a faulty router.
