Extreme heat wave in Quebec until Thursday

garcon-amuse-fontaine-place-festivalsExtreme heat warnings were issued by Environment Canada for most parts of southern Quebec.

While the normal maximum is 25 degrees in mid-August, the mercury is expected to reach or exceed 30 degrees until at least Thursday. Temperatures experienced due to moisture may reach almost 40 degrees, in particular Montreal.

Night temperatures oscillate around 20 degrees.

This period of heatwave could end Thursday with rain possibilities.
