A building of about twenty homes had to be evacuated Monday morning when a fire broke out in one of his apartments.
At around 9 am, the fire alarm broke out inside the building located on Papineau Street in Sherbrooke, after a fire started on the couch of a resident, a living septuagenarian single before moving to the summer.

Twenty firefighters made sure the flames do not spread to the three-story building. These have resulted in $ 25,000 in damages.

The operations have led to the evacuation of some forty residents of the building, who could return to their respective home around 10: 30 pm, with the exception of the fire housing.
