A religious ceremony in memory of the comedian and host Guy Godin, who died last Sunday, will be held on 12 September in the church of Sainte-Rose-de-Lima, Ile-Perrot, west of Montreal.
Previously, the family will receive condolences in a funeral home to L’île-Perrot.
Mr. Jones is survived by four children, 10 grandchildren, a great-grandson, his wife and the two children of the latter.
The versatile artist suffered in particular from kidney failure. He died at the age of 83 years.
During his career, Guy Godin is known in the theatre, and as a presenter on radio and television. He was particularly busy issuing Land of the young , from 1967 to 1972.
It has been heard in radio dramas and it has held roles in several soap operas.
