Fans of off-road should give up on the mud hole of Saint-Jean-Vianney sector for practice activities “off road” in 2016, announced the city of Saguenay in a press release Monday.
According to the City, the deadlines for the realization of the proposed projects will not allow the holding of this kind of event this year.
In all, ten projects were submitted to revamp the site. Some are rather historical, while others are environmental or heritage. One of the developers also proposed a plan that would allow fans to “off road” to continue to engage in this practice.
However, mention Saguenay, permits the Commission to protect agricultural areas of Quebec (CPTAQ) have still not issued and will not be on for a few weeks or months. In addition, the project can not be completed before the autumn 2016, at best.
Furthermore, the City says security official sector and mentions that it must supervise recreational activities that take place. Before they can take several developments must take place to secure the site.
