The Belgian David Goffin will face Britain’s Kyle Edmund in opening Davis Cup final between Belgium and Britain on Friday in Ghent, according to the draw made Thursday.
The second single of the opening day will oppose the British number one Andy Murray Ruben Bemelmans.
The double oppose the Belgian pair consisting of Steve Darcis and Ruben Bemelmans to Andy and Jamie Murray brothers.
The British ambition to win their 10th Davis Cup. Their last title dates back to 1936. The Belgians have played them one final, lost the face of British Isles 111 years ago.
Andy Murray aims to win his two singles. It would become the third player (after John McEnroe and Mats Wilander) to win all his singles matches (eight) in the same year in Davis Cup.
