The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reports that the 59 year old man who was found on July 30 in Gaspésie was found unharmed in the afternoon on Wednesday, six days later.
This is René Saint-Pierre, a resident of Murdochville.
The precise SQ that was located by a motorist. He walked along Highway 198 near Murdochville.
The police explained that Mr. St. Pierre has stalled in the forest with his vehicle. He was able to survive during the days that followed with some food he had with him.
He was taken to a hospital for evaluation of his medical condition.
Research by helicopter and land had been conducted in the center of the Gaspé Peninsula in order to find the fifties.
