Man stabbed in Rosemont: Three suspects arrested

police 82-85Three people were arrested following an armed attack occurred in the district of Rosemont in Montreal, in the night from Saturday to Sunday.

The City of Montreal Police Service (SPVM) has confirmed that two women aged 25 and 31 years and a man 26 years old, have been arrested. They are all considered suspects and will be met by investigators during the next hours.

A young man of 24 was seriously injured in the upper body, possibly with a knife, police said. According to the SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant is an altercation between two men who have degenerated. The involvement of the two women has not been established.

The fight occurred in the parking lot of a McDonald Rosemont Boulevard, near the Rue De Normanville, around 3:45 Sunday morning.

The injured was taken to hospital. By late morning, the doctors told the Police that the victim was now out of danger.
