(Quebec) The police and fire Levis were still searching on Thursday evening, a man of 57 years of Pintendre who had not returned home after going swimming in the river Etchemin post midday.
As explained Christian Cantin, spokesman Levis Police Department, a family member of the fifties contacted police around 17:30 to warn that it was still not home. It seems that the man who had motor problems, regularly went swimming in the river.
Once in the area where the missing was bathing, the police found his cane along the river, but no trace of him. With the help of firefighters, police searched all night and were preparing to appeal to divers from the Surete du Quebec on Friday morning if he still was missing.
