A man was seriously injured late Thursday night following an altercation in a parking Pascal Street in Montreal North borough.
According to the spokesman of the Police Service of the City of Montreal, Jean-Pierre Brabant, medical authorities fear for the life of the old man thirties who was attacked with knives.
The man was severely wounded at the top and bottom of the body during a brawl that allegedly involved twenty people.
The event was held to 23 hours. Following the attack, the injured man fled with a friend who was to take him to hospital. But police intercepted the vehicle on Maurice-Duplessis Boulevard. An ambulance then took over to transport to hospital.
Investigators, including forensic identification service, went to the scene to meet witnesses. But early in the night, they were unable to have a description of the suspect.
