The leader of the official opposition in Quebec, Pierre Karl Péladeau offered with a touch of irony his “sympathies” to Philippe Couillard the day after the announcement of the death of Arthur Porter.
In a message posted on his Facebook page Thursday, the leader of the Parti Quebecois took care to add three photographs which accompanied the Prime Minister we see his “former partner”.
“Mr. Prime Minister, like many other people, I offer my sympathies to the death of your former partner Dr. Arthur Porter.

The relationship between Philippe Couillard and former director of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) draws attention for several years. The two men have already created a consulting firm together.
Dr. Arthur Porter died of cancer in Panama on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. He was jailed pending extradition to Quebec to face charges of fraud, money laundering and conspiracy.
