Bernard Drainville will be the new House Leader of the Official Opposition, announced Sunday night the Parti Quebecois (PQ), which unveiled the composition of his new shadow cabinet.
The PQ leader, Pierre Karl Péladeau, Agnès Maltais has assigned the role of deputy leader and the member for Rimouski, Harold LeBel, becomes whip. Nicole Léger, the Member for Pointe-aux-Trembles will caucus chair.
Former House Leader Stéphane Bédard becomes spokesman on justice.
The former aspirant to the leadership of the PQ, Alexandre Cloutier, who was in charge of justice, was appointed spokesman of the opposition in education.
Pascal Bérubé, who had early given his support to Mr. Péladeau during the race, took the braid. He who was previously spokesman of the Public Security said that responsibility energy and natural resources.
