Seven miners injured

1168064A confrontation between two vehicles left seven injured miners in Saint-Henri-de-Taillon, Sunday morning.

A van and a car collided on Highway 169. Children were aboard a vehicle. Firefighters were called to go to the scene and they used the jaws of life. Drivers and passengers suffered only minor injuries. The Sûreté du Québec could not give details on the cause of the accident. Furthermore, a motor vehicle collision in Saint-Honore, in Sunday evening, causing minor injuries to five people. For a reason that remains unknown, the driver lost control of his vehicle. Five people were aboard. No other car was involved in the accident. People were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Flights to Chicoutimi

(Laura Levesque) A break and enter occurred in downtown Chicoutimi, in the last days. Nearly $ 5,000 in electronic equipment were stolen at 469 Racine Street. The owner or the tenant was absent during the passage of the perpetrator. A crime scene technician was dispatched to the scene to collect evidence.

Eventful night in Saguenay

Moreover, a man was arrested for driving while impaired in the Saint-Pierre place in Chicoutimi. He refused to blow into the breathalyzer and had to spend the night in the cells of the Chicoutimi police station before being released on parole and promise to appear.
