The CHUS Foundation honors its volunteers

In recent years, the Foundation has invested more than $ 45 million in medical equipment in addition to contributing to the expansion of the CHUS Research Centre among others.

This year, the prestigious John Besre ended up in the hands of Dany Lachance, former president of the board that involves volunteer with the Foundation for 15 years.

I could see the impact of changes when I accompanied a friend in her treatments. My father also receives care, I know it is good and the space is perfect. The route Marie-Josee Gaudette has meanwhile started there ten years.

“I wanted to get involved as volunteers for a cause, but I did not know where. I saw a television commercial about the Foundation golf tournament and I took it as a sign. I immediately had a crush, “she says.

The nurse at Larivée Line Research Center and the orthopedist François Cabana receive the “Volunteer Hospital” mention. For them, their involvement makes sense every day in the workplace.
