Guy Turcotte, by the mouth of his lawyer, will try for a third straight day to convince the jury in his criminal trial not to condemn him for the premeditated murder of his two children.
The ex-cardiologist admitted causing the death of Oliver, aged five and Anne-Sophie, aged three February 20, 2009.
At his criminal trial, he presented a defense of not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder. The defense psychiatric experts have argued that he suffered on the evening of drama, an adjustment disorder and was in full suicidal crisis.
His attorney, Pierre Poupart, began his address Tuesday afternoon.
On Wednesday, he tried to demonstrate that the killing of the children was not an act of revenge against his ex-wife Isabelle Gaston, who had deceived him with one of his friends.
