US President Barack Obama does not think Donald Trump, now leading in the polls in the Republican camp, will succeed him in January 2017 at the White House.
“I do not think he will be president of the United States,” said Obama in an interview aired Sunday on 60 Minutes on CBS.

“I think it operates something real within the Republican party: there are real anti-immigrant feeling among a significant proportion of Republicans voting for the primary,” he continues.
The Democratic president has denounced on many occasions in recent weeks, without naming it, the words of Republican billionaire on this theme.
“Leading is not to fan the flames of intolerance and to take when a fire declares itself surprised,” he launched this week.
Obama, who was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2012, did he regret not being able to seek a third term?
“I think it’s healthy and it’s very good for our democracy,” he replies, saying that it is beneficial to have “a new perspective, new ideas and a different type of discussion with the American people. ”
Referring to the 15 months that separate him from his departure from the White House, Obama spoke of a feeling “bittersweet.”
“I am very proud of what we accomplished and I wish I could do more. But when come the end of my mandate, I think it will be the right time for me to leave. ”
