2000 homes still without electricity in Quebec City

After the nightmares day of yesterday on the roads, it is the return to normal in the region of the Capitale-Nationale where no incident was reported on Thursday morning. On the other hand, nearly 2,000 households are still without electricity.
According to Hydro-Québec, the service has been restored for 95% of the customers and the unlucky should return to electricity by noon. It is in the Lebourgneuf, Vanier, Charlesbourg and Limoilou sectors that some residences are still plunged into darkness and cold, explains spokesman Daniel Banville.
The Frontenac transformer station was the cause of major outages in Quebec City. The problem was resolved in the evening on Wednesday and the guests quietly found the light so that in the beginning of the night there were only some problematic places.
The current outages in the yard are not related to the transformer station, but to isolated incidents occurring in parallel on the grid and adverse weather conditions.
