A man of 58 years died after he was hit head-on by a train while he was shoveling the snow, in the small municipality of Larouche, in Saguenay.

The victim was driving a tractor plowing near his residence in the rue Gauthier when he was hit head-on by a train of the Canadian National. The victim would be a city employee.

The emergency services have been alerted to 15h30, Wednesday.
