According to the verdict, Tigran Yengibaryan was found guilty under part 2 of article 286 (“Violation of safety rules of the road”), part 1 of article 135 (“Leaving in danger”) criminal code of Ukraine, and he was sentenced 3 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to operate vehicles for 3 years.

According to the decision of the court of Appeal, Yengibaryan exempt from punishment. The court set a trial period of 3 years and not allow the sentence to part of the punishment if during the probation period the convicted person does not commit a new crime and will execute the duties assigned to it.

Duties include: during the probationary period periodically to report for registration to the authorized body on the questions of the probation officer; to report to the authorized body on the questions of the probation officer to change the place of residence or study; not to travel outside Ukraine without the consent of the competent authority on questions of probation.

Recall, 16 January 2018 in Kharkiv, saltivske highway, the driver of a Toyota fatally injured 17-year-old pedestrian and fled the scene.
