A residence on rue François-Casey in Sherbrooke was literally sacked by criminals last April.
The scene of devastation is disturbing while all the pieces have been turned upside down.
In the kitchen, the refrigerator was emptied, the cabinet doors opened and the contents of the dishwasher thrown to the floor. Several kitchen items litter the floor of the residence.
In the living room, windshield washer cans, cushions and clothes are on the floor.
A plant is knocked down and the cupboard doors torn from a bathroom.
In the basement, the same scenario is repeated.
The exerciser was thrown to the floor, the lamps upside down and the DVD scattered on the floor.
“The same scenario is repeated in all rooms of the residence. The bathroom, the shower, the appliances, the furniture and the clothes, everything was ransacked, “explains the spokesperson of the Sherbrooke Police Department, Samuel Ducharme.
For now, SPS investigators can not account for this rampage that caused more than $ 130,000 in damages.
“It’s a couple with no history. They have never had a problem with anyone and they have never had any threats, “the SPS spokesman said.
According to the SPS, suspects allegedly entered through a window in the residence.
“In addition to sacking, they stole several items. We are looking for clues to advance this investigation, “says Samuel Ducharme of the SPS.
