Recently released from a Russian prison Alexander Kostenko 6 or August 7, will arrive in Kyiv. This was announced by first Vice-speaker of the Parliament and Ukraine’s representative at the talks in Minsk Irina Gerashchenko on his page in Facebook.
“The President has already talked on the phone with Alexander Kostenko, which our Consul Gennady Brichenko go to Moscow. It is planned that later in the night they will come to the Ukrainian Embassy. And on Monday and Tuesday waiting for Alexander in Kiev”, – she wrote.
Recall that the Ukrainian political prisoner from the Crimea Alexander Kostenko was released from Russian penal colony №5 in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region. He was accused of the fact that Kostenko allegedly during the Euromaidan protests in Kiev in February 2014 caused the injuries to the employee of the Crimean special forces “Berkut”. Also the activist was charged with unlawful possession of weapons – rifled barrel.
