American actor and Director Robert Redford said that he decided to end his career as an actor.
According to Entertainment Weekly, his latest acting job will be the role of Forrest Tucker in the film “Man with a gun”. A film by David Lowery tells the story of a criminal who has made a career out of robbing banks and is known to frequent escapes from prison.
81-year-old Robert Redford also noted that it is considering in order to continue to participate in film as a Director.
“Never say never, but I’m sure this movie will be the last for me as an actor, and it’s time to move on. I’ve been doing this 21 years, and it seems I’m done. Why not do something else?” said Redford.
During his career, Redford starred in over 70 films and television series, particularly “the Great Gatsby”, “Candidate”, “All the President’s men”, “Spy game”. Also in 1981, Redford received the “Oscar” for best Director in the movie “Ordinary people.”
