Anjou: two missing children finally located

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) announced to 20 h, Sunday evening, you have located the two children of Anjou who were missing. Raphael Grondines-Lambert, age 7, and Zachary Laframboise, 5 years, were missing since Sunday morning.

The two children are in good health, said the police on its Twitter account.

They have been found to 19: 30, safe and sound in the sector of Pointe-aux-Trembles, near Sherbrooke street and Joseph-Versailles, 4 km of their residence. This is a woman who, after having seen their pictures circulated in the media, alerted the police.

“The two children have reportedly left their residence located in the sector Anjou [Sunday] morning and have not been heard from since”, had pointed to the SPVM in a notice of the disappearance spread to 17 h. The two young boys would have momentarily escaped the vigilance of their parents.

“When the parents have noticed the disappearance, they have undertaken research around the home and in the neighborhood. As these were unsuccessful, the parents have appealed to the SPVM to 13 h”, informed the spokesperson of the police, Manuel Couture.

Teams of intervention of the SPVM participated in the on-site research, assisted by dog handlers.
