Audrey Veilleux named on the national team

From 30 may to 3 June was held the Championship HOPEFUL in synchronized swimming in London Ontario, the last national competition of the season.

Audrey Veilleux finished in 14th place in the figures of 237 athletes present at the competition. As a duo, his teammate, and she finished fifth out of a total of 24 teams. As a team, they finished in sixth position in the routine of the 30 teams. On 4 June, the swimmers took part in the qualifications to obtain a place on the national team that will represent the country at the Mediterranean Swimming Confederation, Mealhada in Portugal. The former swimmer in Neptune Synchro, Audrey Veilleux has been selected, along with 11 other girls, among the 237 athletes. This competition will take place from 3 to 6 August. To prepare, members of the national team will train throughout the month of July in Toronto. Also, a fundraising campaign will begin shortly to help Audrey to cover the costs of the competition of 7800$.
