A single button to replace the combination ctrl-alt-del
Bill Gates has taken advantage of the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, which was held on Wednesday 20 September 2017 in New-York, to express his regrets. “If I could make a small change, I’d do a single touch ” he said.
This is not the first time that the co-founder of Microsoft will be speaking on the subject. At the beginning of the year 2013, he had already taken the engineers who worked on the first IBM PC that are at the origin of the combination. “We could have a single button. But the guy who designed the keyboard IBM did not want to give us a single button , “he then lamented during an event held at Harvard university.
