Chronic pain medicine causes obesity

A team of researchers from American University found that people who regularly consume painkillers opiates prone to obesity, rapid weight gain and hypertension.

The University of Newcastle conducted a study among 130 thousand people. All the subjects were divided into two large groups. The group in which all participants take only drugs against the disease itself, without mixing with the painkillers, almost has not changed its initial performance, with which they entered the experiment. However, the group of subjects, which in addition to essential medicines long course took the painkillers showed a stunning result: in 80% of cases in humans were recorded developing obesity, metabolic disorders, and chronic hypertension.

After this experiment, all the specialists strongly recommend to take painkillers opiates a course lasting more than 5 days.
