Circulation changed to Sherblues & Folk

Regular motorists in downtown Sherbrooke should note that traffic is changing as a result of the Sherblues & Folk musical event.

The portion of South Wellington Street between King Street West and Sanborn Street will be closed from July 4 (8 am) to July 10 (noon). In addition, Wellington Street North will be closed from July 5 (8 am) to July 10 (noon).

Road users are encouraged to use King West, Peel, Marquette and Frontenac streets to bypass Wellington North and King’s Ways, Grandes-Fourches Sud, Aberdeen, Laurier and Ball to avoid Wellington Street South.

It should also be noted that parking will be prohibited on both sides of South Wellington Street between King Street West and Sanborn Street on the night of July 3rd and 4th, as well as on Wellington Street North, between King Street West and Albert, on the night of July 4-5.

In addition, a signage for the movement of the five taxi cabs will be installed in the descent of King Street West.

From 5 to 8 July, downtown Sherbrooke will vibrate to the sound of blues and folk. Remember that more than 30 shows, on three outdoor stages, and five interior scenes, are planned for this eighth edition.
