City prepares to acquire Studio Sex building

The Studio Sex Building, 92 Wellington Street South, is expected to become the property of the City of Sherbrooke in the coming weeks.

Its current owners have not challenged the legality of the expropriation.

The chairman of the executive committee, Serge Paquin, reports that “the discussions are going well. It becomes a question of valuing compensation. We agreed that space should be available no later than September 30 “.

The Studio Sex building was not part of the tender that had been launched for a downtown demolition. However, a call for tenders should be launched by 30 September.
