Conchita Wurst, the diva with a beard austrian who won the 2014 Eurovision contest, has revealed in the night of Sunday to Monday, testing positive for HIV, saying it wants to put an end to a blackmail and the fight against the “stigmatization” of people living with HIV.
“The day has come to set me free for the rest of my life with a sword of Damocles: I’m positive for HIV”, explains the singer disguised bearded 29-year-old on his page Instagram.
“This has no interest for the public opinion, but an ex-friend threatens me to reveal publicly the personal information, but I will not give anybody the right to try to scare me and influence my life as well”, she adds.
Conchita Wurst, has, since his coronation for the Eurovision contest, an icon and an ambassador for the homosexual cause in the world, has added “hope(r) to give courage and to make a new move against the stigmatization of people” with HIV.
Tom Neuwirth – the city its name – said that her family knew “from the first day” of her hiv status, and have also informed the rest of his entourage.
“I am in good health and I am stronger, more motivated and more liberated than ever,” assured the diva, who pointed out that the HIV in his body was “for many years and without interruption is below the threshold of detection”.
