A place of consumption and sale of narcotics was dismantled Wednesday morning in downtown Sherbrooke.
With a search warrant to arrest a 34-year-old, the police found the suspect in his apartment at 1 Alexandre Street, but also five others wanted for various offenses.
Cocaine, crack and over 1000 methamphetamine pills were found on the premises.
“It was the intervention group that first came into the suspect’s dwelling. We hit it here after a short investigation, “said SPS spokesman Martin Carrier.
The main suspect in this case is expected to face various charges related to the possession and trafficking of narcotics.
“His dwelling was presumably a place of consumption and sale of narcotics. In addition to the drugs, the police found a certain amount of money as well as an accounting list, “the SPS spokesman said.
The five individuals who were on site were wanted for arrest warrants in connection with shoplifting.
