Elections in Ukraine: Gritsenko, Rabinovich and Lyashko most likely to add votes

Выборы в Украине: У Гриценко, Рабиновича и Ляшко наибольшие шансы прибавить голосов избирателей

According to a survey conducted in early August, 2018, if the parliamentary elections in Ukraine will take place “Sunday” in the Ukrainian Parliament pass six parties. This is evidenced by the International survey research center BURI (Belgian-Ukrainian scientific-research Institute), reports EUtoday.

Thus, the greatest support of Ukrainian voters, according to results of a poll will be provided to the party “Batkivshchyna”, headed by Yulia Tymoshenko (11,2%), “Civic position” Anatoly Gritsenko (9,3%), the party “Opposition bloc” (the leader Yuriy Boyko) (7,6%), the party “For life” Vadim Rabinovich (6,9%), party “the BPP Solidarity” the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (6.5%) and the Radical party headed by Oleg Lyashko (6.1 percent).

Polls regarding the political preferences in Eastern Ukraine (the Kharkiv region and districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions controlled by Ukraine) showed that the most popular politicians here are Vadim Rabinovich and Yuriy Boyko. If presidential elections will be held “Sunday”, respectively, then vote for them of 15.2% and 12.6%. Followed by Yulia Tymoshenko (9.2 percent), Petro Poroshenko (8.3%) and Anatoliy Hrytsenko (of 4.5%). The survey included the names of politicians who are likely to participate in elections.

Contrary to previous results obtained in the spring, the 5 percent barrier needed for representation in Parliament, does not overcome some of the party, such as “Samopomich” (3.6 percent).

37% of Ukrainians are clearly ready to vote in presidential elections, although they could not name the candidate who would be supported.

Meanwhile, the analysis of the so-called antiretrovira question “What political party you never vote?” (table 3), gives grounds to say that these 37% of the vote will move to those political forces that are less likely to irritate the electorate and have a relatively low rating dislikes of people. In particular, the party “For life” led by Vadim Rabinovich (rating 35%), “Civic position” Anatoly Gritsenko (rating 34%) and the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko (rating 59%). Minimum recharge of those who have not yet decided, would be respectively “the opposition bloc” Yuriy Boyko (rating 79%), PPO (rating 71%) and “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko (rating 66%).

The results of the survey were presented to the International research center BURI. The study was conducted from 25 to 31 July 2018. The total number of respondents is 2048 people (a representative sample). Method of survey – direct interviews. The error is not more than 2.3%.
