The registration period for the 51st Festival international de la chanson de Granby (FICG) is now open.

The performers, singer-songwriters and groups can submit entries to the Great Contest, in which the 24 selected participants will have the opportunity, during two weeks of intensive training, to refine their learning of the basics of the song and performing arts, mentored by industry professionals, and will share more than $ 130,000 in different prices. The Big Competition may also propel her toward scholarships, a european tour, opportunities of benefits paid, from tracking radio, etc

The 14 to 17 years are invited to try their luck at the pane Never Too Early, where they will experience the writing of texts and the creation of a musical show, while children from 6 to 13 years can learn the profession by participating in the Little Festival, which will offer them days of auditions and training.

As for the professional artists, the FICG offers a network of contacts with broadcasters in Europe through its Music Showcases.

The 51st Festival international de la chanson de Granby, will be held from 14 to 24 August, 2019. The new director-general of the event, Jean-François Lippé, shall enter in office on February 25.
