European Court hears case of occupation of Crimea by Russia

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) is considering three cases against Russia, Ukraine submitted the initiative. This was told by the head of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko in his interview with “Focus”.
“Now the European Court of Human Rights on the initiative of the Ukrainian government is considering three cases against Ukraine. First, most associated with illegal military aggression and annexation of the Crimea. According to it is already the first decision – ordered Russia to withdraw troops from the peninsula . Also the question infringements Ukrainian state – our claim to the Russian side has reached 1.2 trillion uSD, and this amount will increase, “- said Petrenko.
The second claim, the minister said, connected with the abduction of children by terrorists in eastern Ukraine that have been wrongfully removed to Russia.
“ECHR demanded immediate return of children in Ukraine. This case also has a political significance. In this framework we will prove the involvement of the activities of terrorist organizations in Ukraine”, – said Petrenko.
We also consider a third thing – it initiated in the interests of the former leader of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP Mustafa Dzhemileva, which “Crimean psevdovlada” banned from entering the peninsula occupied by Russia.
