FAS: Google filters the results of the information manually

The Federal Antimonopoly service carried out an investigation and found that Google’s search engine, and similar service “Yandex”, you can filter the results practically “manually”. The Ministry stressed that the proceedings continue.

The representatives of FAS said that the global search engines do not violate antitrust law, however, some nuances have been installed. In particular, due to the criteria of the companies that emerge when users query information can be selected and results will be issued with regulation companies almost “manually”.

The Department reported that Google has already been fined for violating the Antimonopoly law – the company has rigged the results information about corporate partners at the highest line. At the moment the investigation by the FAS continues.
