German President congratulates Ukrainians on Independence Day and wished them a peaceful future

The President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier has sent Petro Poroshenko and the Ukrainian people the greetings of the Independence Day of Ukraine. About it reports a press-service of Administration of the President.

“On the occasion of independence Day of Ukraine sending you and the Ukrainian people the most sincere congratulations, also on behalf of the citizens of Germany,” – said in the letter.

The President of Germany said that his country supports Ukraine in overcoming the political, economic and social challenges.

“Together with its European and international partners, Germany and will continue to advocate that people in Ukraine had a free, self-certain life in peace, stability and prosperity,” he said.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier stressed that to achieve this goal Ukraine will firmly continue on the path of reforms.

The German President wished a happy, peaceful future of Ukraine.

Recall that tomorrow, August 24, Ukraine will mark the 27th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.

The US President Donald trump has already sent congratulations to the President Petro Poroshenko, noting that the United States will always support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The pen, the President of France Emmanuel Makron congratulated Poroshenko and Ukrainians on Independence Day. He noted that France remains near Ukraine to find a sustainable solution to the conflict in the Donbas.

Pope Francis wished Ukrainians blessings, particularly citizens in the East of Ukraine.
