The Deputy Minister of the temporarily occupied territories Yury Grimchak in the program “Pulse” on the TV channel “112 Ukraine” said the chronology of the accident at the factory “Titan” in the Crimea.
“The plant stopped. We suspect that from the 23rd to the 24th, – this is our Ministry, the accident occurred at the plant that led to the first release of these substances. It was the first crash, it happened in the night,” he said.
The second stage, according to him, occurred in the night from the fifth to the sixth of September.
“There are the same suspicions, from the 5th to 6th night (held) the second stage of the same accident. We do not have access to the occupied territories. The law prohibits”, – he said.
Also, according to him, during the period from the first to the second crash norms of harmful substances in air, water and soil is not exceeded.
“The border is actually on this kislotostabilen, where he stood and our guards, and our environmentalists and all of this was measured. And I want to tell you that since the 24th, the 25th to the 6th of September norm of harmful substances in air, water and soil did not differ from normal, they were under existing regulations. And just 6-they were not above normal, they began to grow. To protect children, the decision was made to take out them”, – said the Grimchak.
In addition, the Deputy Minister reiterated that the plant as of 9 September have not worked.
“We published the pictures of the plant on September 9, which show that pipe smoke, the number of industrial transport decreased, personal vehicles of people who work at this plant also decreased. Work actually stopped, the plant is worth,” he said.

On metal objects, rooftops, on the leaves of the trees formed oily coating having a yellowish tint. First, the representatives of the occupation authorities did not recognize the problem, but on 4 September the “Crimean government” for the first time stated that the maximum permissible concentration of sulfur dioxide in Armyansk and nearby towns exceeded the norm. Children were evacuated, local residents encouraged to spend less time outdoors. Through the release of chemicals in the annexed Crimea on mainland Ukraine has left 59 people.
