Groisman instructed Gosudarja to check the presence of open lists of medicines in health facilities

Гройсман поручил Госаудитслужбе проверить наличие открытых списков лекарств в медучреждениях

Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman instructed the State audit service to check the hospitals in all regions of Ukraine to open the lists of available drugs. He said this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports 112.ua.

“Obviously, this information is hidden. I, in principle, it is expected that everything will be completely different, because I think we came to yet another topic that was taboo, a closed society, but open to certain individuals. So today I propose to give instructions to the government, the State audit service of each area to check, especially the “take” those where the information is closed or not fully disclosed, or not updated… In the absence of published data, the presence of drugs – we will publish ourselves,” – said Groisman.

In addition, the Prime Minister stressed the need as quickly as possible to create a unified system of affordable drugs.

“And we certainly need to expedite the creation of a new unified system that will pull data and, in particular, to work with the distribution of these drugs. In principle, we see today that has not been created in the state, no registry, no system of forming requirements, nor the formation of a distribution, no system of control on the results of these drugs,” he said.

We will remind, the Ministry of health approved the registry of the preparations of the program “Affordable medicine”.

As reported, the state program “Affordable medicine”, which in the presence of the recipe allows to obtain drugs for the treatment of chronic diseases for free or for a small fee, effective as from 1 April 2017. From the state budget of Ukraine to 2018 allocated 1 billion UAH to Finance the program reimbursement.

Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that it sold more than 21 million prescriptions to patients across the country under the program.
