Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman promised in two weeks to announce the results of negotiations with representatives of the International monetary Fund (IMF). He wrote about this in his microblog on Twitter.
“Previously, the Memorandum with the creditors signed and did not fulfill the promise. And this has undermined confidence in Ukraine. I need to resolve this issue. The IMF mission arrived. We work, we have a constructive relationship. In 2 weeks will report on the results of negotiations,” he wrote.
Commenting on the cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF, the Prime Minister said:
“We were thrown into serious debt. It is obvious that the economy is growing, but on our shoulders a debt which we cannot pay. It is necessary to enter foreign markets, perekreditovyvatsya, reduce interest rates”.
Previously, the Finance Ministry reported that Ukraine has fulfilled most of its obligations to the International monetary Fund.
As reported, on Thursday, September 6, in Ukraine began, the IMF mission and it will last until 19 September.
