In the French of Monaco was detained by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev. It is reported by the newspaper Le Monde, citing its own sources.
It is noted that Rybolovlev was arrested in Monaco in the morning for questioning on charges of corruption. At his house the authorities of the Principality was searched. According to the publication, as of Tuesday night Rybolovlev remains in custody.
Earlier it was reported that Rybolovlev and the head of the Dutch company’s AIM Bernard de Roos signed the agreement under which the football club “Monaco” received money to bypass the financial fair play rules. Dutch businessman promised Monaco 1.4 billion euros in ten years. The money was to be returned to the company.
