Football club “Beitar” from Jerusalem decided to change its name by adding the name of the President of the United States Donald trump. This is stated on the club page in Facebook, reports TASS.
Now the football club is called “the trump Beitar Jerusalem”. Thus, players expressed gratitude to the American President for the decision to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem.
– For 70 years Jerusalem waited for international recognition, while President Donald trump is not recognized the city as the eternal capital of Israel. President trump showed courage and true love to the nation of Israel and their capital. “Beitar”, one of the most famous symbols of the city, thanked the US President for his support. President and owner of the club along with the Executive Director decided to add to command name the name of the American President who took the historic decision, from now on, the club will be called “trump Beitar Jerusalem,” the statement reads FC.
