In Kharkov the court has pronounced a sentence to the Director of social security for the negligence which killed a three year old boy

The October district court of Kharkov appointed to the official social security in case of negligence, which killed three-year-old boy to three years imprisonment – however, the actual sentence she was released. This is evidenced by the court’s decision.

The court found the Director of the centre for social protection are guilty of negligence and sentenced to three years imprisonment and deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions in the services for children for a period of one year, without penalty. However, she was released from the actual punishment with a probation period of one year, if it during this time will not commit a new crime and will execute assigned court duties.

Recall that in early September of 2017 to the center of social protection asked the Kharkiv, who asked us to collect the families of his sisters children three and six years. He said that his father systematically beat children. The test was conducted formally.

After some time, three-year-old boy was taken to hospital and died there from injuries and physical exhaustion. The experts found that the cause of death – starvation and constant physical violence, which had the character of extreme suffering and lasted more than a year.

After the death of the boy’s 26 year old mother of the child is charged with willful neglect of child care which have entailed heavy consequences and grievous bodily harm resulting in death (article 166, part 2 of article 121 of the criminal code of Ukraine). The baby’s father charged with torture, the intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in death (part 1 of article 127, part 1 of article 122, part 2 of article 121 of the criminal code of Ukraine). To them threatens till 10 years of imprisonment.
